CODAM (Care of Disable and Marginalized)

 

  1. Health Assistance: CARITAS facilitates access to healthcare by providing referrals to competent partners, assisting with hospital bill payments, advocating for ante-natal follow-up, and offering psychosocial support to individuals exposed to traumatic situations.
  2. Food Security: The organization addresses food security issues by distributing food items (FI) and non-food items (NFI) to those in need, ensuring that vulnerable individuals and families have access to essential nutrition.
  3. Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH): CARITAS promotes initiatives that improve living conditions and hygiene practices in the communities it serves. This includes efforts to ensure access to clean water, proper sanitation facilities, and hygiene education.
  4. Education Support: CARITAS provides assistance to support children’s education, such as school supplies, fees, and other educational resources. This helps ensure that disadvantaged children have access to quality education.
  5. Livelihood Assistance: The organization offers support for livelihood development, empowering individuals and communities to improve their economic well-being. This may include vocational training, entrepreneurship programs, and income-generating activities.
  6. Counseling and Psychosocial Support: CARITAS collaborates with trained priest to provide counseling and psychosocial support and trauma healing
  7. Communication and Sensitization: CARITAS has a dedicated department that produces bulletins, flyers, and brochures to raise public awareness and disseminate information about their programs and services. We also partner with Divine Mercy Radio and Television to increase the reach of their sensitization efforts.
